BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE

We are looking for an ambitious, energetic Business Development Account Manager to facilitate the expansion of our clientele. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and support new business prospects, through researching, refining and developing plans for targeting prospects.
  • Develops new business opportunities and business development strategic plans through market analysis.
  • Follows market activity to anticipate new trends and capture business opportunities.
  • Conducts and reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, pricing and trends.
  • Develops sales skills, in addition to technical service knowledge, in order to sell multiple product lines and be able to develop cross-selling opportunities across business lines.
  • Maintain the companies CRM of contacts/relationships that could potentially benefit from the Company's services.
  • Actively measure client interaction and results by utilizing CRM and other reporting tools.
  • Makes initial prospective client outreach via calls as well as follow-up communications with prospective clients on future and proposed opportunities.
  • Supports management in dealing with negotiations, bids, contract development acquisitions and budgeting.
  • Take ownership in the proposal process including estimating, writing, and submittals.
  • Creates and maintains business relationships with key customers contacts and management through regularly scheduled meetings, anticipating customer needs and ensuring operational excellence.
  • Communicates customer needs to internal counterparts to ensure operational excellence and increase the overall satisfaction of our clients.
  • Increases industry awareness and knowledge by attending appropriate industry conferences and company meetings.
  • Supports marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Promotes self-development through participating in company approved technical sales and leadership training programs.
  • Travels as required to support business activities.
  • Monitors competitors’ product development and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Engineer with eligibility to obtain a Canadian P.Eng or American PE with 3 – 5 years business development experience.
  • Bachelor of Science in engineering in an accredited Canadian, American university or equivalent.
  • Strong technical aptitude with a firm understanding of the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical EPC Industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of interdisciplinary engineering deliverables for project execution specific to the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
  • Prospecting, sales, sales planning and closing skills.
  • Meeting and Presentation Skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

RECEPTION / ADMINISTRATION CLERK

Reporting to the Office Manager and working with document control, administration and project staff, the Reception/Administration Clerk is responsible for being the face and voice of Lanmark. The successful candidate will have a high degree of professionalism and corporate communication skills, be professionally presented, and have superior organizational skills with the ability to focus on multiple tasks and changing priorities; with a mature approach and confidence in dealing with a wide range of clients, business partners and staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create a professional first impression, and interface in a positive manner while greeting clients, vendors and staff both in person and over the phone. Handle all incoming calls on switchboard, directing and transferring calls, taking messages.
  • Greet and ensure visitors sign in at reception and advise them of proper safety procedures.
  • Assist with fire drills/evacuation in case of emergency.
  • Handle all incoming/outgoing couriers and mail while ensuring company policies and procedures are followed with special attention to time-sensitive and confidential packages.
  • Ensure reception area, main conference rooms, and main kitchens are kept clean and tidy.
  • Assist with scheduling of conference rooms including special requirements, ordering and setup for lunches, refreshments, etc.
  • Maintain positive business relationships with office vendors.
  • Assist outside vendors and clients with connecting to AV equipment in conference rooms.
  • Assist with office maintenance and cleaning related issues, recycling, etc.
  • Monitor the use and stock of supplies and equipment and order supplies on a weekly basis.
  • Troubleshoot and/or schedule technicians for equipment when necessary (i.e. printer).
  • Ensure phone lists and office floor plans are kept current and up to date.
  • Assist the team by filing, photocopying, collating, etc.
  • Assist with miscellaneous administrative duties as required.
  • Be able to lift 15-20 lbs (office supplies, cases of paper).
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Be able to arrive and be ready to work by 8:00 a.m. and work till 5:00 p.m.
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment, sometimes with minimal guidance.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a high school diploma or higher.
  • A minimum 1-2 years' reception experience in a medium to large sized office.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • An intermediate to advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite of applications with the ability to learn and adapt to new programs and processes.
  • A professional, courteous, and mature demeanor with good phone and email etiquette.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and present a flexible and adaptable approach to work assignments.
  • Be highly organized with exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to exercise tact and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.

PROJECT ENGINEER

Our ideal candidate will be an essential member of one of our multi-disciplinary engineering teams, possessing a minimum of 5 years of experience in EPCM Oil, Gas or Petrochemical facility design experience. As a member of this team you will report to a Senior Project Manager and be involved in the overall design and execution of all design aspects including, process, mechanical and stress, EIC, civil design. The ideal candidate with be familiar with regulatory processes for provincial or state energy agencies as well as boiler pressure vessel authorities. The project engineer will also review and coordinate procurement phases of this team’s projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform design calculations including hydraulic line sizing calculations, mechanical piping stress calculations, PSV sizing, equipment sizing for various unit processes and also provide the associated documentation.
  • Develop and manage drawings with the engineering and drafting teams.
  • Develop and check Plot Plans, P&IDs, Piping Plans, and isometric drawings.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer registered with APEGA.
  • Bachelor of Science in engineering in an accredited Canadian university or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of interdisciplinary engineering deliverables for project execution specific to the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
